Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Bill and Cindy Mack, and Carl Cornelius Take Bids for Biodiesel

Cornelius works the crowd with the help of a Hooters Girl as Cindy and Bill Mack broadcast the auction along with Tom Verry, Director of Outreach and Development for the NBB and Gene Gebolys of World Energy who are both Founders of the Biodiesel Political Action Committee.

Carl Cornelius stepped out of his role as legendary Texas truck stop owner and Mayor of Carl's Corner to help the Biodiesel Political Action Committee auction off some awesome prizes including autographed guitars from Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard and a Willie Nelson concert package. Bill and Cindy Mack aired the auction on XM Radio during the National Biodiesel Conference on February 6th.

With Cornelius' help and fabulous donations from Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard, the Biodiesel Political Action Committee was able to raise $10,000 for campaign contributions and education outreach to politicians who are biodiesel friendly or who influence energy policy.
